Glenn, joining from Kentucky, is introduced as an accomplished automotive industry professional, author, motivational speaker, and founder of the 800 Elite Automotive Club. Glenn shares that he has eight children with a ninth on the way, ranging from 25 years old to newborn. The conversation begins with a lighthearted exchange about their respective families before moving on to the main topic.

Glenn's Journey to Personal Growth

Glenn shared his personal journey of overcoming a challenging time in his life, which included homelessness, depression, and suicidal attempts. He acknowledged that he allowed the high-pressure, intense environment of the automotive industry to negatively impact his life. After hitting rock bottom, Glenn made a shift towards personal and spiritual development, realizing he was responsible for the things happening in his life, both good and bad. This realization led him to write books and speak on stages to make a positive impact in the automotive industry. Glenn emphasized his desire to unlock his full potential and positively influence the industry he loves.

Overcoming External Pressures and Triggers

Jonathan and Glenn discussed the importance of acknowledging and responding to external pressures and triggers. Glenn shared his personal experience of overcoming negative influences in his past and now being able to have a positive experience in that environment. Jonathan emphasized the power of choice and the importance of aligning with one's values and integrity. Glenn also mentioned how writing his books and speaking helped him stay consistent with his values and purpose, even in challenging environments.

Glenn's Spiritual Transformation Journey

Glenn shared his personal journey from a Darwinistic belief system to a more holistic approach that includes spiritual aspects. He explained how this shift in perspective transformed his decision-making process, making him consider the impact on others and the importance of values like honor, integrity, and legacy. Glenn also discussed how this change influenced his daily morning show, "Rise and Grind," which focuses on motivation, education, and inspiration. He emphasized the importance of aligning his actions and words with his beliefs, leading him to wake up earlier to ensure consistency.

Aligning Words and Actions for Integrity

Glenn discussed the importance of aligning one's words and actions to maintain integrity and honor. He shared his personal journey of self-improvement, highlighting how adding a spiritual aspect to his life and seeking to serve others positively impacted his life. Jonathan acknowledged Glenn's impressive achievements, particularly starting a show at 5:30 in the morning and making adjustments over time to improve it.

Embracing Challenges for Personal Growth

Jonathan and Glenn discussed the importance of setting aspirational goals and striving for consistency and integrity. Glenn emphasized the need to step out of comfort zones and embrace the challenges of personal growth. They agreed that the human desire to unlock one's full potential often requires leaning into the uncomfortable and becoming someone new. Jonathan highlighted the value of alignment with one's values and the importance of spiritual connections. They both agreed on the need to work towards personal growth and not hold oneself back due to imperfections.
