Grokker’s Lorna Borenstein Honored in the Herizon Awards 2026 for Driving HR Tech Transformation

Recognition honors women transforming individuals, teams, companies, industries, and the globe.

Grokker and Business Intelligence Group proudly announces that Lorna Borenstein, Founder and CEO, has been named in the 2026 Herizon Awards for driving transformation in the HR technology industry. Presented by the Business Intelligence Group, the award recognizes women who are changing how the world works. This marks Borenstein’s second consecutive year honored in the “Founder/Visionary” category.

This year, Borenstein was recognized for leading a structural shift across the employee benefits space to solve persistent benefit fragmentation and underutilization challenges. Traditionally, benefits information has been scattered across portals, vendor platforms, databases, and PDFs. These disconnects and navigation issues typically lead to employee frustration, overwhelmed HR teams, increased healthcare costs, and wasted benefits spend.

Borenstein transformed this paradigm by introducing AI-driven, conversational navigation directly into the benefits stack. She led the team in developing the GrokkyAi™ Intelligence Suite, an AI powered middleware layer that unifies fragmented HR data and benefits. It delivers instant, cited answers and real-time care guidance to employees in their moment of need, helping employees find and use available resources and maximizing benefits ROI.

"Lorna is transforming HR technology by turning a fragmented benefits maze into one conversational experience," said Russ Fordyce, Chief Recognition Officer, Business Intelligence Group. “Grokky’s suite helps employees reach the care and resources they need, right when they need them.”

The 2026 Herizon Awards honors 57 winners across five nominee roles and four countries, spotlighting women whose leadership has moved individuals, teams, companies, industries, and the globe.

“Being recognized for the second year in a row is incredibly meaningful,” said Borenstein. “This honor belongs to the incredible people at Grokker who bring our vision to life every day. Together we are creating a New Way To Well and reimagining what wellbeing can look like for everyone.”
